Excessive burden on infrastructure, with no guarantee of contributions to offset
The proposed addition from 150 new homes to the size of the population of Minchinhampton will put an excessive and unsustainable burden upon the existing infrastructure of the town - on its school, surgery, recreational facilities and parking. The planning development contributions (Section106 money or Community Infrastructure Levy) that may be imposed on the developers go into central funds for Gloucestershire. There is no guarantee that the money will be spent in Minchinhampton.
