Loss of good Grazing land and commoners' rights jeopardises Minchinhampton and Rodborough Commons
The grazing land at Glebe Farm and Tobacconist Farm is classified by Natural England, a Government Agency, as Good grazing. The NPPF calls on planners to refuse planning applications that result in the loss of designated Good grazing land. The loss of this grazing land, which carries commoners' rights for the grazing of up to 14 cattle on the Commons means that there is further pressure and threat to the viability of Minchinhampton and Rodborough Commons.
